As some of you already know, I started out writing short stories. I went back and re-read a few of them last week and it seemed to me that they withstood the test of time. I thought I'd try to re-publish them, but ultimately I decided to offer them on my website for free so my legions of fans won't think I'm a one-trick pony.

This week I'm posting "Growing Pains," a story about a daughter who wants to leave the nest, and her father, who isn't ready to let her fly off on her own.
